My brief Response

Micah,
I’m going to try to answer your question without getting bogged down, so bear with me.
This isn’t something I just woke up one day and decided—“I’m going to start believing this and stop believing that.” I’ve been on a journey with Jesus, and I truly believe He has been—and still is—showing me His Father… whom I love to call Papa.
I believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of the world! Not a potential Savior, not a partial Savior—He is the Savior. Which means He can’t help but save the world—because that’s who He is. That’s what He does.
John 3 says He didn’t come to condemn the world, but to save it. And I believe He accomplished that deliverance.
One of my favorite passages says: “God was in Christ reconciling the world (cosmos) to Himself, not imputing their trespasses against them.”And now He has entrusted to those who believe—the ministry of reconciliation. We plead with people: Be reconciled to God! Why? Because God has already reconciled you to Himself.
He’s not a tit-for-tat God—“If you do this, I’ll do that.” He’s not saying, “Love me or else!” Can you picture Jesus knocking on the door of your heart, saying, “Let me in—or I’ll cast you into eternal hell”?
No. That’s not the heart of God.
God has done it. Check out Hebrews 8:7–13—an incredibly powerful passage. Notice verse 8—where the real problem was. Also Romans 8:3 is worth reflecting on.
Now, there’s no way I can share my whole perspective in one Facebook post. But let me share a few things I believe:
I believe repentance (a change of heart and mind) and faith (seeing truth) are two sides of the same coin—gifts that come as the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus.
I believe that if any person truly saw Jesus for who He is, they would embrace Him.
The problem? Believing we are Adam’s children, we live in ignorance, darkness, and unbelief. We haven’t seen Jesus for who He really is—the Last Adam our elder brother.
I believe God is love—and when people encounter pure, unconditional love, they can’t help but embrace Him.
Remember Jesus’ prayer on the cross for those who crucified Him?
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
I believe Papa answered that prayer.
How? Read 2 Corinthians 5:14–21. That prayer is proof that Jesus has mercy on blind and darkened hearts—on people who simply don’t see or understand who He is.
God has proven His love by sending His Son to deliver us from sin and death. And I believe Jesus accomplished His mission.
I believe God is so good—and so big—that He is working (as Scripture says, “He accomplishes all His purposes”) to open the eyes of every heart so they can see Jesus for who He is: the Savior.
Jesus said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
I believe the mercy of the Lord endures forever—and that physical death doesn’t suddenly cut off the flow of His mercy.
I believe to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord—and that laying aside this carnal body will have a kind of cleansing, eye-opening effect on our perception of reality. And when we stand before the gaze of our loving Father…
Let me quote George MacDonald:
“Good souls many will one day be horrified at the things they now believe of God.”
Salvation isn’t about the worthiness or wickedness of the one being saved—it’s about Papa’s goodness and grace, which have overcome every obstacle to bring us into His eternal embrace.
This is the miracle and wonder of the incarnation—JESUS coming to us, to deliver us!
“God is love, and His love is better than our greatest thoughts, better than our wildest imaginings, and even better than our best biblical understanding.”— Jason Clark
There’s so much more to say…
I’d be glad to sit down face to face and enjoy some coffee with you, if you’d like?
Love you, brother!

I read it all and appreciate you taking the time! Definitely a lot there, I'm down for some coffee for sure! I don't have time to get into it now but look at John 3 that you mentioned, my question is where does this condemnation come from? What is it? Or why are men condemned? Not because of God's judgment its because of our sin and unbelief. What Jesus did delivered us from sin and death. I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but I also believe the Shepherd seeks the lost sheep until He finds it! Faith can not receive what hasn't already been given. I believe people must repent and believe. I've got to go. I…
Hey Bro!
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts. I know your heart is moved by the love of God, as is mine. I strongly agree that Jesus is the Savior of the world and that God is love (1 John 4:8). I also know you’ve been studying this a long time and you’re a student of the Word. I acknowledge the fact that this isn’t a snap decision for you. I also know and appreciate that you’re open to discussion and listening, unlike many. I too have tried my best to challenge things I was raised hearing and seeing to see if they are found in Scripture. Some have been discarded as traditions of man and others…
