Alive With the King

“We were dead because of our sins, but he brought us to life with the king – it's grace, you see, that saved us! He raised us up with him, and made us sit with him – in the heavenly places, in King Jesus.”Ephesians 2:5–6, NTE

Pause and Reflect

At the heart of the gospel is not just the promise of life after death, but the bold announcement that we are already alivenow—with the risen Christ. This is not something we earn or climb toward; it is the gift of grace. Grace that reaches into the grave of our brokenness and brings us to life with the King.

Before we could move, believe, or respond, God acted. He didn’t wait for us to clean up or wake up. He spoke life into our deadness, just as He did at creation and at the empty tomb. And more than life—He raised us and seated us with Jesus, placing us in a position of rest, honor, and union with Him.

You don’t have to strive to get closer to God. You are already seated with Him, already in Christ. This truth redefines your identity and reframes your everyday life.
